Goal review...

Now we have passed the Autumnal Equinox and into October I am mid-way through this year’s goals, which marks time for a review to see if I’m on track, and, if not, am I actually still keen on them.

My value word for the year is “connect” and whilst I have been spending a lot of time with people in real life, one aspect was to connect more with my PA friends through Twitter, but there’s just so much noise!  Twitter has, in my opinion, turned into Facebook (which keeps telling me that I haven’t updated my status in a while – as if I don’t know!) with suggestions and interrupting the feed with what it thinks I want to see. There's so much unwanted information that I have next year's value word already, but more on that another time. It's certainly time to refine my Twitter lists! Hopefully then I'll see more valuable content.

My other main goals include:

Wellness - run 1000km before the end of the year and fundraise £1000 for the charity that supports my niece.  I'm on target for both of these, which is fortunate considering there's less than three months left... Also to have more self-compassion and be accepting that my illness prevents me from being able to be the runner I once was.
No rain, no flowers

Family & home - social media cut-off time has been great. WiFi/data is switched off at 9pm and back on at 7am.  this has been a life changer, and a sleep improver.

Spiritual - to be more present with mindfulness and yoga.  Again, has greatly helped with the sleep and general malaise that can come with M.E.

I'm also just past half-way on my 40 before 40 list, but more on this to follow too.
